Supplier Management

Mega Securities values cooperation and growth with its suppliers. To implement supplier management, the Company has established the "Regulations of Supplier Sustainable Development Management", requiring suppliers to cooperate with Mega Securities and its subsidiaries to comply with legal requirements across dimensions such as labor rights and human rights, occupational safety and health, environmental sustainability, and ethical management. Mega Securities implements supplier management by evaluating whether potential partners have a record of environmental or social impacts before entering business dealings. The company avoids transactions with suppliers that conflict with management regulations and requires all suppliers to sign the “Supplier Sustainability Declaration” upon entering a contract. If a supplier engages in activities described in the management regulations, Mega Securities reserves the right to terminate or rescind the contract at any time and list the supplier as a restricted transaction party.

Mega Securities regularly tracks violations by the suppliers. The partners are inquired for any violation of the “Labor Standards Act”, “Act of Gender Equality in Employment”, “Employment Service Act”, “Middle-aged and Elderly Employment Promotion Act”, “Occupational Safety and Health Act”, “Labor Pension Act”, and “Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act” through the Inquiry System of Business Unit (Employer) Violating Labor Laws and Regulations by the Ministry of Labor. In 2025, there were no significant violations of laws, regulations, or supplier management requirements among the key suppliers that entered into contracts with Mega Securities and its subsidiaries. Additionally, a total of 137 supplier contracts were signed in 2025, all of which included the signed supplier sustainable development statement.

Supplier Sustainability Self-Assessment Questionnaire Survey

In order to strengthen the supply chain management and promote supplier engagement benefits, Mega Securities cooperates with the Group in conducting questionnaire surveys to implement the " Sustainability Development Self-Assessment Questionnaire Survey" mechanism for key suppliers. The target respondents are the key suppliers of Mega Securities (suppliers with a single transaction or cumulative annual transaction amount exceeding NT$1.5 million.) and aim to investigate their performance in four major aspects: Labor rights and human rights, environmental sustainability, occupational safety and health, and ethical corporate management. The questionnaires were distributed to the suppliers to assess their sustainability performance in the previous year on their own, and performance was rated on a scale of A Level to D Level. In 2025, Mega Securities and its subsidiaries surveyed 36 key suppliers (covering data from 2024) and received 36 completed questionnaires. The results included 21 Grade A, 14 Grade B, 1 Grade C, and 0 Grade D suppliers. Among them, one supplier was found to have violated labor laws. Mega Securities has since communicated the procurement risk to said supplier.

Green Procurement

Mega Securities and its subsidiaries continue to support the government green procurement program, reducing environmental impact by purchasing or leasing ecolabeled products or services recognized by the Ministry of Environment. The “Regulations for Requisition and Procurement Management” explicitly stipulate that green procurement should be prioritized. In 2025, green procurement by Mega Securities and its subsidiaries totaled NT$32,174,060, out of a total procurement amount of NT$340,857,129. This represents a green procurement ratio of 9.44%, which exceeded the annual target by 2.7%. In addition, Mega Group's "Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles" also specifies to include the circular procurement promoting product resource recycling into green procurement items. The circular procurement methods of Mega Securities include leasing instead of buying, such as the leasing of company cars and photocopiers.
