Environmental sustainability
- Mega Securities Xingying Branch attained the Green Building Label
- In 2024, Mega Securities’ headquarters building used 1,651,000kWh of green electricity, accounting for 69.03% of the annual electricity consumption
- All domestic operating sites of Mega Securities and its subsidiaries passed “ISO14064-1:2018 GHG Inventory” certification
- “ISO 14001:2015 environmental management systems” certification (including renewal certification) for all domestic operating sites of Mega Securities and subsidiaries
- “ISO 50001:2018 Energy management systems” certification renewed for Mega Securities Headquarters building
- To fulfill responsible procurement, the green procurement of Mega Securities in 2024 was NTD 69,826,500, accounting for 22.49% of the total procurement of NTD 310,444,533; the green procurement of Mega Futures in 2024 was NTD 2,898,840, accounting for 19.93% of the total procurement of NTD 14,547,571

Sustainable Finance
- Mega Securities underwrote NTD 2.1 billion in sustainability in 2024 and the balance of investment in domestic and overseas sustainability bonds totaled NTD 4.974 billion
- Mega Securities assisted with 5 capital-raising projects for small and medium enterprises, raising a total of NTD 3.084 billion
- The balance of investments in sustainable development industries, as defined by the Mega Group, amounted to NTD 14.616 billion and accounted for 37.58% of total of investment positions (excluding hedging) of proprietary underwriting and non-subsidiary subsidiaries
- At the end of 2024, the positions of the SBT Science-based carbon reduction targets set by Mega Securities accounted for 27.13%, a significant increase from 9.49% in 2023
- In December 2023, Mega Securities issued the “Mega TPEx FactSet Semiconductor Climate Net Zero Elite Total Return Index ETN”, the first climate ETN in Taiwan (five-year duration)

Customer Commitment Team
- In 2024, 39,192 new accounts (including Taiwan stock and sub-brokerage accounts) were opened through digital channels at Mega Securities, an increase of 33.25% from 29,412 households in 2023
- “Mega eStock” services offer regular savings plans, dollar cost averages, conditional orders for Taiwanese fractional shares, and deposit share services for US shares. There were a total of 49,013 new share plans in 2024
- Mega Securities has established the "Mega Bond" for electronic trading of overseas bonds and reduced the subscription threshold for certain quality bonds to USD 1,000
- In 2024, Mega Securities conducted a customer satisfaction survey. All customers were 92% satisfied with the overall service, with a satisfaction rate of 92% for the young generation (18-30 years old), 93% for the middle-aged (55-64 years old), and 95% for the elderly generation (over 65 years old), surpassing the target of 86%. The results come from conducting two mystery customer surveys

In 2024, 2,928 research reports by Mega International Investment Services was published on its website, with the number of clicks exceeding 130,000
- The paperless account platform began operating in 2024, with 5,389 accounts opened, an increase of 16.32% compared to the 4,633 accounts in 2023. The online account opening rate of Mega Securities reached 76.08% in 2024
- The ESG smart sustainability data platform of the official website of Mega Securities was launched in 2024 to provide rich ESG data and data for investors
Employee Care
- Mega Securities passed “ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system” certification renewal
- The total number of training hours of employees of Mega Securities and its subsidiaries was 89,946, with an average of 55.42 training hours per employee (in particular, the Mega Securities organized 964 training courses, totaling 84,756training hours, with an average of 55.18 training hours per employee, an increase of 8.5% from the average of 50.87 hours in 2023)
- An employee engagement survey was conducted in concert with Mega Holdings. Employee response rate was 100% and employee engagement score was 3.83 (out of 5), slightly lower than the score of 3.89 in 2023
- 5 seminars on employee healthcare were held by Mega Securities, benefiting 451 participants. One seminar on health care for middle-aged and elderly people, benefiting 73 participants
- 31 employees received maternity subsidies, totaling NTD 298 thousand; 19 employees received wedding subsidies, totaling NTD 201 thousand
- Organized free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for the 4th consecutive year
Mutual Prosperity
- 223 volunteers participated in the social prosperity activities, accumulating 882 hours of volunteer service. A total off 46 activities were sponsored or organized, benefiting a total of 10,448 people, through a total investment of NTD 8.23 million
- 10 financial seminars and visits were organized, benefiting 316 students. The seminars included four anti-fraud lectures (such as the elderly lecture held with the Southern Taiwan Joint Services Center, Executive Yuan, and the "Eye Care and Financial Anti-Fraud" lecture held with the Taiwan Prevent Blindness Foundation), raising anti-fraud awareness among 233 people
- 53 college students were offered the opportunity to work in eight departments, including the Brokerage Department, Capital Market Department, Share Agency Department, Legal Affairs Department, and Information Department, as well as at Mega Futures and Mega International Investment Services
- Sponsored 14 financial charity events to promote financial literacy, prevent fraud, and support innovative entrepreneurship, benefiting 9,755 people
Corporate Governance
- The performance evaluation of the Board of Directors and functional committees in 2024 was conducted by Mega Securities, and the achievement rate of all evaluation items was over 90%
- Starting from 2023, the Company has been conducting compliance tests (including regular tests and case tests for penalties) every year. In 2024, a total of 14 units were subject to compliance tests
- 100% of directors and employees above the grade of manager have signed the “Ethics and Compliance Statement”
- Mega Securities was rated as a Class 1 (excellent) securities dealer twice in a row by the Taipei Exchange in its risk management evaluation since 2019 (evaluations are held once every three years)
- Mega Securities received a long-term rating of “twAA” and short-term rating of “twA-1+” for eight consecutive years from Taiwan Ratings with a outlook rating of “Stable”
- 2024 - Mega Holdings was once again chosen as a constituent stock by the “Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the “Emerging Markets” and “World Index” (Mega Securities included in scope)
